Paper Donuts
These fun little donuts are from May’s Paper Pumpkin! I think they are super adorable! I put them together pretty much the way they were intended to be. I sent them all out today as thank you’s to my Catalog Launch Party participants! (Except the three I somehow left on the counter, those will go out tomorrow :/) I added a few embellishments that weren’t in the kit plus some non-stampin up heart sequins that I thought looked cute on the donuts.
The Paper Pumpkin kit came with extra donut “icing”, so I put them on some Soft Suede card stock bases. The finished card size is 5 1/4 X 5 1/4. I still needed a couple more donuts and ended up making them with the retired circle framelits. After die cutting the donuts, I used the paper snips to trim around the outside edge so they wouldn’t be a perfect circle just like the ones that came in the paper pumpkin kit. I used Blushing Bride card stock. I think I might like my donuts more! I sponged a little blushing bride ink around the outside and the center of the donuts. I used the coffee rings from the Timeless Textures stamp set. Coffee and donuts, never been a better breakfast than that!
