I had so much fun making these cards from the new stamp set called Lemon Zest that is available in a bundle with a coordinating punch. I used vellum paper to soften the Daffodil Delight lemons, even though I “stamped off” the bulk of the ink. The glass is from the Jars of Love stamp set. I thought the lemon was the perfect size to make it a refreshing glass of lemonade! I don’t have an ice cube stamp, so I attempted to make “ice cubes” with a versa mark pen and clear embossing powder. It’s hard to see in the picture. It turned out okay, but embossed ice cube stamps would’ve been better. That’s okay though, I still like it!
The green sentiment is Emerald Envy, a perfect color to make limes next!
The following two cards, I cased from the current SU! publication just for Demonstrators, “Stampin’ Success”. A magazine all Demonstrators get to enjoy on a quarterly basis.
I used two different sentiments on the next two cards and also different ribbon…well, one is ribbon the other I used my very favorite and most used “ribbon”; Linen Thread.
Which do you like better, the thread or the ribbon? Please leave me a comment or a question, so we can talk stamping…or whatever else is on your mind!
