Stamping Handmade Hugs

When you can't hug in person, send a Handmade Hug you created, with Stamps, Paper & Ink!

These little animals just couldn’t be any cuter! I stamped them on watercolor paper, then used ink from my stamp pads and the aqua painter to watercolor them.  The Cable Knit Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder…say that 3 times real fast…is a perfect pairing with this little kitten all wrapped up in a ball of yarn! The card stock, one of my favorite blues…Dapper Denim…is the embossed background. White bakers twine all balled up around the kitten seemed like the perfect embellishment for this card.

All of the new Dynamic Textured Embossing folders are thicker than the regular ones. They leave deeper impressions and it is recommended that you spritz them with water just before running them through the Big Shot.

This little piggy has completely won my heart! This is just the first couple of many cards I intend to make with this cutie pig. Pear Pizzazz is the card base, Soft Sky is the mat, and the cinder block wall is Smokey Slate. I used the wood crate to make the fence with the Wood textures dsp. The greenery is from the Daisy Delight stamp set, and the pig of course, is from This Little Piggy stamp set.

Isn’t the Burlap Background the cutest? Love it! The Crumb Cake card stock and ink work well as the background for this little piggy, this happy little piggy. Rhinestones give it just a tad bit of sparkle and pizzazz.

I hope these fun cards inspire you to pull out your stamps and have a little fun. I haven’t decided who is getting these cards yet, but I’m pretty sure they’ll put a smile on their faces.

I’ve never heard about spritzing the paper with water when using the textured embossing folders. Thanks for the tip.
