My oldest daughter, Courtney is a really talented artist. She has dabbled in many different art mediums, pottery, drawing, sculpting, painting, sewing, anime, decoupage…the list is endless! She has excelled at all of them. I remember one time she came home with 2 mannequin/dress forms and she was completely elated!! She had “always wanted to paint a mannequin”!! Really?? Who thinks of that?? I was amazed, only a true artist would have thought of that!! She told the man at the antique store what she had always wanted to do.
So, he said she could have them both if she brought one of them back painted for him to sell. That’s exactly what she did. It was beautiful! (A good Mom would have the picture of it in a designated location, easily found, in order to share it) One day, I’ll run across it and post the picture.
Anyway, every now and then we get to create together. The other day she came over, I was working on some cards, and she started looking around at all my stuff. When she saw the cute little fish from the Jars of Love set and the adorable little jars, she just had to make a card! So, in a very short time, she created the card below.
She did a fabulous job!! It’s so cute! The dsp is from the new catalog, which you can order from TODAY!! Future posts will have the links to the new products. Check it out online, just click the catalog picture to the right. The Jars of Love Stamp set and Everyday Jars Framelits can now be purchased seperately.
