These Vintage Leaves are beautiful and there are so many different colors and ways to use them. I chose Autumn colors, of course, since it’s Autumn. It occurs to me that I need to do them in different greens next time. Stampin’ Up! has so many beautiful greens to choose from that would make a really pretty card. The multicolored leaf in the collage below was simply inked on three different colored ink pads, rotating the stamp as you go. There are many techniques to make the leaves multi-colored. Over time, I will post many of those techniques for you.

The card in the center and center left of the collage below, has gold embossed spots. You can just catch a glimmer of the embossing in the center photo. In person, it’s sparkly and pretty. I have to work on my photography skills, I couldn’t quite capture the shine!

The card in the bottom right corner of the collage above, was inspired by a card in the 2016-2017 Annual Catalog. I love the peach in this color combo, I was glad I tried the Cajun Craze and Peekaboo Peach together. They compliment each other well.

Eclipse Cards are all the rage in the Demonstrator Community now. That’s what the “LEAF” card is called. It’s an easy card to make with a really dramatic effect. If you have any questions about the instructions below please leave it in the comment section below and I will get back to you asap.

I can’t tell you how often I use the lines of the Stampin’ Up! grid paper to line up DSP, embellishments, ribbon…whatever, it really helps! You don’t have to use the post-it  note tape but it’s especially helpful when photographing the cards.

So, if you’re a Demonstrator, whether you do it for the discount or the for the business opportunity, you have the priviledge of “the Preorder” We get to order and play with all of the Holiday Catalog products for a full month in advance of them being avaibable to customers. There are also, a lot of Facebook groups for demos only. We usually can get an idea of what will be popular in the new catalog, with everyone because of the activity on FB etc… Painted Harvest is definitley a popular one! It is in my top two for sure!

Painted Harvest is VERY versitile, I’ve seen it done in almost all the Stampin’ Up! colors it seems. I’m just getting started with this set, it’s just so fun to play with! And the Leaf Punch? How cute is that?  Those leaves are popping up on all kinds of cards! I’ve also seen the flower used as a wreath many times. Super cute!

I don’t know which compliments these flowers more, the beautiful Night of Navy Gingham Ribbon or the Lemon Lime Twist cards stock? What do you think?

I think anything floral is the bomb. There just isn’t an ugly flower, not that I know of anyway. Flower is synonymous with beauty. August Paper Pumpkin has lots of pretty flowers to go on eight cards. In addition, the kit contains a beautiful gift box to hold the cards. More views of the gift box are pictured  below the collage of cards.

Scroll down a little ways and you’ll see the refill kit. Refill kits frequently sell out, so you want to jump on that asap, if you don’t want to be disappointed.

Part of the fun of Paper Pumpkin for some of us, is to try and alter the kit with other SU! products. I try to mostly stick to the products in the kit. I did alter these a little bit, I added Glitter Enamel Dots and switched out some of the flowers with the Flower Shop stamp set and the Pansy punch. (product links below)

How lovely is this box?? This makes an awesome gift!!

The refill kits are $8 and are only available to Paper Pumpkin subscribers. They come with everything but the stamp set and stampin’ ink spots.

If you would like to join the fun and subscribe to Paper Pumpkin and get your surprise craft kit in the  mail every month, just click the link below and the fun will be begin. Keep in mind, that if it is after the 10th of the month it is too late to receive the kit for that month. You won’t get a kit until after the tenth of the next month…a long and anxious wait! But totally worth it!

Stampin’ Up! has so many fun ways to package Halloween treats for your kids class, for your neighbors and coworkers, for family and friends, for your waitress at the restaurant…it’s endless who you can give the treats to!

The #1 collage box has our already very popular and versatile Acetate Card Box. It is a fabulous way to give your card creations as gifts. Here it is holding one of my fav candies…miniature Reeses..yum!

The #2 collage box has our adorable little Treat Tubes, here they are holding Skittles and Tic Tacs. I plan to buy some Jelly Belly’s for them too!

The # 3 collage box has our absolutely irrisistable Mini Pizza Box…how cute are they??!! What a great way to package some homemade cookies! Some of those adorable sugar cookies that are decorated with royal icing…you know, the ones that are almost too pretty to eat? How about a Halloween Pumpkin shaped and decorated sugar cookie…that would be just too cute! #4 is the inside of the pizza box decorated with Paintedd Autumn DSP.

The #5 collage box has our, also very popular, Clear Tiny Treat Boxes with some caramels in it. My youngest daughter is getting married this month and those little boxes are holding hot cocoa and mini marshmellows. They are tied with ribbon and a tag…a post for another day!

The next box is a closer view of the #1 box. Finally, box number 6 is our 2″ X 8″ flat cello bags, perfect for a serving of these delicious orange slices. I simply made a tag out of our Painted Autumn DSP and a Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp.

Why am I posting a July Paper Pumpkin in October…because I was several months late in getting my Paper Pumpin kit put together, photographed and onto my blog. I had a good excuse…I was down with a back injury that ended in a very successful surgery. It’s so wonderful to be back to making cards and holding classes again!

I don’t know if you know this…but Paper Pumpkin refill kits can be purchased by Paper Pumpkin Subscribers! So when you get one you absolutely LOVE and want to make more you can order them. Get them early though, because they often sell out!

If you don’t know what Paper Pumpkin is I will be happy to tell you! First, I love it! It’s a paper craft kit that is always a surprise as to what is in it. You subscribe to it, for $19.95 a month…which includes tax and S&H…great deal! At least half of the kits every year are card kits, they all come with a stamp set and at least one Stampin’ ink spot, which does not repeat in any given year and the first kit comes with a D size clear block for your stamps. The cards/projects are so cute and fun to give away to friends, family, coworkers and neighbors!

There is a fun Paper Pumpkin Facebook group you can join. A lot of the ladies like to do alternate projects with their PP kits. I altered these cards a little bit but the only thing I added was the sequin trim. So much fun! It also doesn’t take a lot of time.

Nothing says “Fall” like gourds, they are a sign that the days are going to be generally sunny and the air cool and crisp. It’s my favorite season I think.  Fall isn’t as colorful here in sunny California, as it is on the east coast, but you can still smell it in the air. Making Fall cards helps me to enjoy and appreciate the season even more.  Cajun craze, pumpkin pie, crushed curry,  always artichoke and tangerine tango are colors I rarely use the rest of the year. It’s fun to pull them out this time of year. I hope you enjoy looking at these cards as much as I enjoyed making them!

Gourd Goodness2 Collage

I used the Baby Wipe Technique for the leaves on the top right card of the above collage.  That technique is demonstrated in the collage below.

I hope these note cards either inspire you to send someone you love and care about a quick note, or to sit down and give yourself a little creating time…so you can later send someone a quick note.
