Magical Mermaids
I just LOVE these Magical Mermaids!! Partly because my oldest daughter LOVED The Little Mermaid when she was a very young kid. For… forever, when she took a bath she would say, “See Mom, I’m a mermaid, I have red hair, a purple shirt and a green body” So adorable. When she wasn’t in the bath she had a Little Mermaid costume she wore. Just one of her many Disney heroine’s!
For sure, one of these cards will be for my daughter, Courtney this October…on her 28th birthday! She’ll love it just as much then as she would have when she was 5 years old!
So, I really love this mermaid stamp set! It’s hard to see in the picture but there is Wink of Stella on the mermaids body. I used the Fine-tip glue pen to make the bubbles pop.
The combination of a Magical Mermaid stamp set and a Seaside Shore stamp set makes for a really cute card! I used a stamping block to make the square. Just ink each side of the block, one side with Pool Party the other with Bermuda Bay. Then spritz with water about 3-4 times at a distance of about 2 feet then stamp onto your card stock. And… aren’t the Glimmer Enamel Dots perfect for this card!! Love ’em!
I gold emdbossed this mermaid…which I really like! It looks really prettty with the Winl of Stella. This card was inspired by another card maker, Lisa B. Harvey-Reber. It’s my first ever shaker card. Easy to make and makes this a really fun card!
I LOVE the Marbled background stamp used for the water, it’s so pretty!
I used the Watercolor Wash background stamp for the background. I used Dapper Denim then stamped off twice before stamping my cardstock.
I hope these magical mermaids have inspited you and will get you to your stamping table!

Hi Patti, thank you for asking about the Wink of Stella. It is a clear glitter brush that leaves a subtle glimmer wherever you apply it. It’s easy to use and no mess as you stroke thin or thick lines onto your card stock with the brush tip. I’ve added the link to the picture at the top of the product list, so you can take a closer look at it.
You’re name has been entered into the drawing for the “Hang Your Stocking” stamp set! Good Luck!

Thank you for the comment Jeanne! The shaker card was much easier to make than I thought it would be! It’s on my mental “to do” list to write a tutorial for making a shaker card, so it will eventually make it to my written “to do” list!
Your name has been entered into the October 2017 drawing for the stamp set, “Hang Your Stocking”!
