Paper Pumpkin is like receiving a birthday present in the mail, every single month!! I love that it is a surprise. For those of you who don’t know what it is…it’s a paper craft kit that comes from Stampin’ Up for only $19.95 a month…which includes tax and S&H…such a great deal! At least half of the kits every year are card kits, they all come with a stamp set and at least one Stampin’ Ink Spot, which does not repeat in any given year. Also, the first kit comes with a D size clear block for your stamps. The cards/projects are so cute and fun to give away to friends, family, coworkers and neighbors!

If you are a Paper Pumpkin subscriber there are usually refill kits that can be purchased from Stampin’ Up! So, when you get one you absolutely LOVE and want to make more, you can order them. Get them early though, because they often sell out!
There is a fun Paper Pumpkin Facebook group you can join as well. A lot of the ladies like to do alternate projects with their PP kits. It’s always fun to see what they have created. I altered most of these cards a little but only with what was supplied in the kit. So much fun! It also doesn’t take a lot of time and you can take the kit with you and have everything you need. I frequently take mine with me when we go camping.
You can join for however long you wish, just make sure you order before the 10th of the month that you want to start receiving your kit. If you wish to cancel, make sure you cancel before the 10th of the next month.
It is also common to have leftover supplies that you can use on other cards. Look at everything I had leftover after making the 9 cards in this kit. The number of cards/projects varies a lot depending on what is needed for each card or project.

I’m not really a collector…except for rubber stamps…but I do love bird houses and bird cages. I have a few but I don’t want to be over run with them, so having them on paper is fun because they don’t take up any space. These ones are especially fun because I can use my new Stampin’ Blends on them!
I like to sit on the couch next to my hubby and “watch” tv and color, then later I make them into cards. The Stampin’ Blends take a little bit of practice, but I’m enjoying the practice.

This stamp set took a little while to grow on me for some reason. Usually seeing the cute cards that other Demonstrators have made on the various FaceBook groups or Pinterest is what gets me to change my mind. That’s exactly what happened. I LOVE it now! Does that happen to you too?
It’s so fun to put those adorable water droplets on the bottles! And all the bubbles are just so cute! I think I’m going to have to use the bubble stamps or even the Bubble and Fizz DSP, (which is FREE btw, with a $50 purchase…through the end of March) with my Magical Mermaid or with the Seaside Shore stamp sets soon.
My Card Buffet Class will be making the Root Beer bottle…I guess it could be Coke or Pepsi, too…anyway, they’ll be making that card in March.
