Sweet Little Somebunny…
April 23rd, 2018
Another short blog post. These are the other 3 cards I offered at my April 10th Card Buffet. I LOVE this adorable bunny card. A friend of mine has another grandaughter on the way, so I got to use this card this month! The Flirty Flamingo Classic Stampin’ Pad and Card Stock are only going to be available until supplies last since they are retiring at the end of May. Get them while you still can!
I also really love this bottom card, the wood and the roses is such a pretty combination and it’s a quick card to make.

April Card Buffet
April 16th, 2018
Just a quick post here to show you some of the stamping fun, we’re having at my Card Buffet Class!
These are 3 of the 6 cards my ladies got to choose from. The other 3 will be in next weeks blog post.
I’m sorry for such a short post. My husband was just diagnosed with Lymphoma and our lives have become chaotic and I’m not functioning as well as I usually do. We think he is going to be fine, but it’s going to be a rough road for awhile.
I hope these note cards either inspire you to send someone you love and care about a quick note, or to sit down and give yourself a little creating time…so you can later send someone a quick note.
If you are looking for and don’t already have a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, I would happy to be yours! I’m happy to answer product and technique questions. If I know, I’ll tell you the answer. If I don’t know, I’ll find you the answer! I would be thrilled if you left a comment, question or suggestion in the comments section below all the products.

My “Boys” Winter Birthdays!
April 9th, 2018
Now that we have 8 people in our immediate family, we group all of our birthdays into 3 events per year. The “boys” Curtis, Cyle and Zach are all in February and March. So we do a Winter bday celebration with them. Our Spring bday celebration includes Stephanie’s April bday and Brian and Lindsay’s May bday’s. The Fall bday’s are mine in September and Courtney’s in October. With work and social schedules, it works better to narrow it down to 3 celebrations each year.
These are the cards I made for my sons, can you guess which card goes with which son? We celebrated at the best burger place EVER…Burger Saloon in Woodland, Ca. They have about 30 burgers to choose from…we have not been disappointed yet!
This is not the first time we’ve seen Zach eat a burger with everything but the kitchen sink on it! And, Yes, he finished it…not to mention the fries he ate too! And don’t let that “sourpuss” look fool you on Cyle’s face, it’s a game he has always played with his Mom, and now with me, lol! He is a kind-hearted, would take the shirt off his back for a friend, kind of person. The photo bombers are Stephanie, who is sitting beside my son…the one with the chesire cat grin…(and I might add, just as mischievious as the chesire cat, lol). Across from her is Lindsay, our daughter, (Zach’s wife). Courtney, our oldest daughter, (Cyle’s wife), missed the photo bomb opportunity. She’s the one with long blond hair in the bottom right photo.

March 2018 Card Buffet
April 2, 2018
These are the cards we made at my March Card Buffet. This is how a Card Buffet works; everyone can do any 6 cards they wish. They can do one of each, two cards in 3 different designs, all 6 in the same design…whatever combination they like! They can even buy extra card kits to stamp. It makes it easy to customize your choices for the cards you need to send to friends and family.
The Cross card could have been used for Easter, Sympathy, Encouragement, Baptism… I offered a lot of different sentiments for the inside of the cross card to be sure everyone had one that worked for them. Which is your favorite? Which one’s would you have chosen if you’d have come to the class? I’m not sure which is my favorite…maybe the Bubble Over…or the Marina Mist Lovely Wishes in the center…hmmm, hard to decide…they were all fun to design and make 🙂
I blog about a month in advance, it’s less stressful for me. The collage below are pics taken at the February Card Buffet. I love these ladies, they are so much fun!! The lady in the top photo on the right, I’ve known since I was 15 years old!!! Her name is Marleen, one of the sweetest persons you could ever meet! We grew up together and our kids grew up together, this girl has seen me through thick and thin! I can’t imagine where I’d have ended up without her. Not pictured is my friend Kristine, she helps me at each Card Buffet, I seriously could not do this without her. She is a very good friend and helped me so much when I was down with my back injury. In fact, she takes all the photos, too! We watch the Walking Dead with her and her husband…I know, creepy…but it really is a good story!!
The bottom left photo, the woman on the right is Jeanne, I’ve known her since my kids were just toddlers! Her daughter used to babysit my kids. She’s a very special friend of mine too, always supportive, loyal and fun to stamp with! Across from her is Cathy, we’ve been stamping together forever! She makes some really beautiful and complex cards! Some of the rest of the women I’ve known for quite awhile, and some are new stamping buddies. Each one is a joy to be around and they make my events so fun!!
