Subtle Country Home
August 29th, 2018
I went for a subtle look with this card, I wanted the red from this plaid to pop. I used the Large Memories & More Cards and Envelopes, I love the size of this card. It’s perfect for this lay out, a regular A2 might have looked crowded with these elements. I’m also lovin’ the Metallic Pearls on this card! Scroll down to see the Masking Technique How To.
And…the masking technique…I used a different background on the card above.
If you are looking for and don’t already have a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, I would happy to be yours! I’m happy to answer product and technique questions. If I know, I’ll tell you the answer. If I don’t know, I’ll find you the answer! I would be thrilled if you left a comment, question or suggestion in the comments section below all the products.
Most of the products used on this card will not be available until September 5th, 2018, so I couldn’t post the links below. When the catalog goes live you will find all the products if you click on the Holiday Catalog that will be in the side bar.

Holiday Catalog Sneak Peek and Falling For Leaves
August 20th, 2018
It feels a little too hot outside to be doing Fall cards…but there’s nothing like a new stamp set and die cut bundle from the Holiday Catalog to motivate you! Demonstrators, business minded or hobby-minded all get to order new products a month before customers, which is a fun perk. I don’t know about you but once I’ve seen it, I want to play with it as soon as I can get my hands on it! If you’re like this you may want to consider purchasing the Starter Kit! You can do that HERE!
Back to the Holiday Catalog! Did I mention the amazingly gorgeous Designer Series Papers that are in it? Love all the dsp’s…which, as usual, look even better in person! This catalog is the Rock Star of all catalogs. Love, love it!! You can see a few of the dsp patterns on my cards below. They are from Country Lane DSP and Festive Farmhouse DSP. Over the next couple months, you’ll see some more of the dsp’s beautiful patterns on my cards.
If you’d like to see some of the new products, you can check out my FB Live, (now recorded) on this link:

Here’s a tip for these intricate dies…Use Adhesive Sheets! It took me awhile to remember to use them regularly. They make it so much easier and less messy to adhere these die cuts to the card. You will be able to check out this bundle and a lot more come September 5th!
If you are reading this before September 5th, 2018…these products are not yet available. After September 5th, just click on the Catalog photo to see these products.
Animal Expedition
August 13th, 2018
Be sure and scroll down for the stamping tip!
I don’t normally go for the cute-sy stuff, but OMG…have you ever seen such cute and adorable animals…and the PAPER…I just can’t get enough of it! If my kids were still little, all of them and all of their friends would’ve been getting Animal Expedition cards for their birthdays this year. And how cute would favors and banners be made out of this suite?! But, alas, my kids are grown and we don’t have grandbabies…yet…I guess I’ll have to hang onto some of these cards for the future…hopefully, not too distant future!
These little guys were so fun to color with the Stampin’ Blends. So. Much. Fun. Love, love this suite!
Stamping tip!
For each of the animals, after adhering adhesive sheets to the card stock, I cut the colored image out plus two more plain shapes. All with adhesive sheets on the back. Then I adhered them on top of each other easily. This gives these cute little critters a little more dimension.

Detailed Love with some Accented Blooms
August 6th, 2018
So many stamp sets and so little time! I seriously hope we get to stamp when we go to heaven, don’t you?! In the meantime we have to work with real time. These cards did not take as much time as they may look. The details of this first set, appropriately titled “Detailed Love” has so many beautiful…well, details. These cards only show a minimum of the stamps and products in these suites.
You can’t see it in the picture, but for the top right card above I used the Subtle embossing folder. It added just the right amount of texture.
I do most of my coloring while “watching” tv with my hubby. Then it’s just a matter of putting them together. As you can see, I was on a little purple kick here. I just LOVE the new purples!
If you would like to order any of these products, I would be happy to be your demonstrator, if you don’t already have one. Just click on the products you would like and it will take you to my store! All the products for each of these cards are posted below.
