You can make almost any size bag you want…this is the small size gift bag, 6″ tall finished height.

The size indicates the “footprint” of the bag, the height is variable. I used the adorable Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper for the bag.

Scroll down for more pictures…

I used the Twinkle Builder Punch and Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper for the moons and a few of the stars.

The tag is from the Labels to Love stamp set and the Everyday Label Punch, glued onto a Black Foil Scalloped Layering Oval.

Stamp Set Spotlight this week: Feathers & Frost

My first time through the 2018 Holiday Catalog I noticed this cute stamp set.  I didn’t realize it was a Christmas set until I went through the catalog a second time and noticed the sentiments.  It could easily be used for any season, the leaves could be colored for the appropriate season, the birds too, Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall.

There’s lots a Holiday Catalog stuff on this card…Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper p. 29, Festive Farmhouse Cotton Twine p. 13, All Is Bright Paper Clips p. 6, Tin Tile embossing folder p. 43 and of course the stamp set Feathers & Frost p. 30.

I can’t get enough of this butterfly, there’s so many techniques you can do with it!! For example, to get a similar watercolor look, like you see on this card, there are several ways to do it. You could use a sponge dauber to dab whatever ink colors you want on the butterfly stamp, spritz

4WMb1

with water then stamp. Two, using refill bottles of ink, you could use a baby wipe as an “ink pad”.  Just drip drops of different inks all over the baby wipe, then stamp the butterfly on the baby wipe to pick up the ink, spritz with water and stamp your card stock. Or, you can do what I did.  I sprinkled Brusho on the dry butterfly stamp, spritzed with water then stamped. Any way you choose, you’ll come out with a unique image each and every time!
