Stamping Handmade Hugs

Sending Hugs via snail mail with stamps, paper & ink!

November 19th, 2018

(Be sure and scroll down to the GIF to see what’s coming in 2019!)

It’s so relaxing to sit and color these sweet little Snowmen. It doesn’t take long either.  I used the Stampin’ Blends, (alcohol based markers)…which are awesome…if you haven’t tried them and you like to color, you’ll definitely want to try these out. 1aWM Collage

The Stampin’ Blend markers don’t leave lines like our classic water based markers do.  Since they are alcohol based, they do bleed through…not to worry, however, we have tons of beautiful dsp to cover that right up! (see middle left hand photo, where I used paper from the Santa’s Workshop Specialty Designer Series Paper)  The “bleeding” quality is what allows the markers to blend so beautifully.  It takes a little bit of practice but you’ll pick it up quickly and be coloring like a pro in no time!

Have you ever had trouble with your clear mount stamps sticking to your clear block? No more worries…SU! found the solution! They will NOT fall off…infact, take the stamp off of your clear block carefully so you won’t tear the foam on the stamp.
