So Hoppy Together
December 31st, 2018
These cute little frogs are FREE with a $50 purchase, starting January 3, 2019. Granny Apple Green and Gorgeous Grape are a great color combo for these little guys.
This was a pretty quick card to make, I used the Brights DSP which I cut with the second largest Stitched Shape Square. I cut three Whisper White Stitched Squares the same size, stamped the frogs and colored them with the Light and Dark Granny Apple Green, the Light Highland Heather and Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends. (Scroll down for product links)
The Glitter Enamel Dots add a cute touch I think.
This is another Free with purchase stamp set you can earn, Lasting Lily and is one of our Distinktive stamp sets.

Vouching for Authentic Looking Grease Stains…
December 26th, 2018,
Geared Up Garage is a perfect set to make cards for my husband and son. My husband, Brian was raised as a DIY person. There’s nothing he won’t try to fix or build himself. Not surprisingly, my son is the same way.
I could seriously go out into the garage and get these same “grease stains” with real oil! I can personally vouch for authentic look of this stamp.
Brag alert…my son completely tore apart a 260Z when he was in High School…I mean COMPLETELY…and cleaned it up, upgraded a lot of parts and systems and rebuilt it. He was just starting to do the interior cosmetics when a girl rammed into his tail end and totaled the car. He could see her coming but had no where to go. Man was he bummed.
Here’s a couple tips for making this card.
Some “How to” info:
- Cut 5 1/2″ X 8 1/2″pc of Tranquil Tide cs, and score at 4 1/4″.
- Cut 2 pcs of dsp (designer series paper) 2″ X 4″.
- Stamp and adhere all the parts, tie a ribbon around it and your done!
- The Stitched Oval with the car stamped on it, is adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The car is colored with Light Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend and the Light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blend.

Incredible You
December 24th, 2018,
I wish you and your loved ones a Blessed Christmas with overflowing joy!
I stamped these cards with the stamp set, “Incredible You”, which coordinates with the “Incredible Like You Project Kit” from the 2019 Occasions Catalog.
Stampin’ Up!’s Card kits, come with pre-cut elements that you just stamp and put together. The kits are beautiful, easy and quick to do. They’re a good way for new stampers to get their feet wet.
These cards aren’t from the Project Kit found on page 21 of the 2019 Occasions Catalog, “Incredible Like You Project Kit” , I designed these cards. I did purchase the kit, though and will be making those cards as well, they are so pretty!
The technique I used and you can see below is called “masking” If, after reading the tips below, the masking technique still isn’t clear to you, please let me know! I’d be happy to answer any questions you might have about this technique.
This stamp set and the Gingham Designer Series Paper will be available starting January 3rd, 2019! I’m pretty sure you’ll be seeing a lot of Gingham dsp on my cards this Winter and Spring…I love it!!
The “How to”
- Cut a pc. of Highland Heather card stock at 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
- Cut Gingham strip 5 1/2″ X 1″ then adhere as shown, at the opening edge of the card.
- Cut Whisper White Card Stock, 5″ x 1 5/8″ stamp per photo instructions above, then adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Stamp sentiment on second smallest stitched oval, adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals on left underside of oval and glue dot on right underside of oval.

A Country Home Christmas
December 19, 2018,
Yay, the Country Home stamp set made it to the Holiday Catalog Carry Over List!! It’s my #1 favorite stamp set from this catalog.
Although I didn’t use a Christmas sentiment, the shimmer, the pine needles and the color make it “Christmasy” I think.
I didn’t quite capture the shimmer on the card and the ribbon near as much as I had hoped, but I think you get the idea.

Gifting Wine?
December 17, 2018
I had lots of “leftover” die cuts, colored snowmen and such, so I used up a lot of it making these Wine Gift Bags. I’m happy with how they turned out and I was able to sell some of them at my last Christmas Season Craft Fair this past weekend.
It would be fun to do a class where everyone can make these…next year, what do you think?? Would you like a class like that?
This second set of wine bags, I used the Dashing Along DSP, which has been one of my favorite DSP’s from this Holiday Catalog. What’s your favorite Holiday dsp?
Thank you for visiting my blog today!

December Card Buffet
December 12, 2018,
Love these sweet ladies, they’re so fun to hang out with and make cards!
Since it’s Christmas, I thought it would be fun to have an extra Door Prize! I gave each of the Calendars first and the big prize was the tin of Sincerely Santa Gift Tags!! That was so fun to see the excitement of the winner, Linda!! I love that other women are as gaga about stamping as I am!! I was happy with the tag I made for the gift tin. I just fussy cut one of the images from the Santa’s Workshop Specialty DSP, used some stickers from the Memories and More Sincerely Santa Cards and the enamel shapes from that same suite of products. It was fun and easy!!
The cards we made, there’s a sneak peeks in there…
Thanks for stopping by my Blog!

There’s no way society will ever go totally paperless, not even with all the digital calendars we carry around with us…not so long as there are cute little paper calendars like this! I was given two of these last year and I have loved using them. One in my office, one in my craft room.

Wine Gift Bags
December 5, 2018,
I saw some wine tags, recently…the kind that has a hole at the top that slips over the neck of the wine bottle, they were so cute! I planned to make some of those, and I still will, but I wanted to make some Wine Gift Bags first. You could also put Sparkling Cider or whatever your drink of choice is. I’ll be selling these at a Holiday Craft Fair this weekend.
Scroll down if you’d like to see some tips on how I made the Glimmer/Pool Party snowflake front of the bag.
Here are some tips…
Sizes of wine gift bags vary a little bit, so cutting dimensions would vary. Trust yourself, cut a little bigger than you think you want and trim down from there! You can do it!
