Incredible You
December 24th, 2018,
I wish you and your loved ones a Blessed Christmas with overflowing joy!
I stamped these cards with the stamp set, “Incredible You”, which coordinates with the “Incredible Like You Project Kit” from the 2019 Occasions Catalog.
Stampin’ Up!’s Card kits, come with pre-cut elements that you just stamp and put together. The kits are beautiful, easy and quick to do. They’re a good way for new stampers to get their feet wet.
These cards aren’t from the Project Kit found on page 21 of the 2019 Occasions Catalog, “Incredible Like You Project Kit” , I designed these cards. I did purchase the kit, though and will be making those cards as well, they are so pretty!
The technique I used and you can see below is called “masking” If, after reading the tips below, the masking technique still isn’t clear to you, please let me know! I’d be happy to answer any questions you might have about this technique.
This stamp set and the Gingham Designer Series Paper will be available starting January 3rd, 2019! I’m pretty sure you’ll be seeing a lot of Gingham dsp on my cards this Winter and Spring…I love it!!
The “How to”
- Cut a pc. of Highland Heather card stock at 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
- Cut Gingham strip 5 1/2″ X 1″ then adhere as shown, at the opening edge of the card.
- Cut Whisper White Card Stock, 5″ x 1 5/8″ stamp per photo instructions above, then adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Stamp sentiment on second smallest stitched oval, adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals on left underside of oval and glue dot on right underside of oval.

I hope you enjoyed looking at my cards and tips, thank you for visiting my blog!
If you like Animal Expedition from the Annual Catalog…you’re gonna love January’s Paper Pumpkin…I can’t wait to see it, in fact…I ordered two!

It was fairly quiet….. I got a dog bite on Christmas Day and ended up getting a tetanus shot a couple of days later. Other than that, it was good! I did very little decorating this year, so putting it away should be easy!

That’s a bummer, a dog bite… As a runner…well, now a very slow jogger…I’ve been chased or barked at by many a dog…nothing like a growling dog to get your heart pumping!
That does make the clean up much easier…we did the same thing this year!

The dog was at my daughter’s house. They were babysitting Annie as a favor to some friends. Let’s just say I now have a nickname for Annie and it isn’t too nice…. Actually she just got overly excited and nipped me, but unfortunately it broke the skin. I have been around Annie before and didn’t think she was a biter…. 😦 I’ll definitely have to be more cautious around her in the future!

Lol, about the nick name!! Well, I’m glad it wasn’t a viscous neighborhood dog.
