Vouching for Authentic Looking Grease Stains…
December 26th, 2018,
Geared Up Garage is a perfect set to make cards for my husband and son. My husband, Brian was raised as a DIY person. There’s nothing he won’t try to fix or build himself. Not surprisingly, my son is the same way.
I could seriously go out into the garage and get these same “grease stains” with real oil! I can personally vouch for authentic look of this stamp.
Brag alert…my son completely tore apart a 260Z when he was in High School…I mean COMPLETELY…and cleaned it up, upgraded a lot of parts and systems and rebuilt it. He was just starting to do the interior cosmetics when a girl rammed into his tail end and totaled the car. He could see her coming but had no where to go. Man was he bummed.
Here’s a couple tips for making this card.
Some “How to” info:
- Cut 5 1/2″ X 8 1/2″pc of Tranquil Tide cs, and score at 4 1/4″.
- Cut 2 pcs of dsp (designer series paper) 2″ X 4″.
- Stamp and adhere all the parts, tie a ribbon around it and your done!
- The Stitched Oval with the car stamped on it, is adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The car is colored with Light Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend and the Light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blend.
