January 25, 2019,

I’m just getting started with this set, there are so many beautiful elements to this stamp set and the framelit dies that I haven’t played with yet.  The stamp set and framelits can be purchased in a Bundle and that will save you 10%.

I colored with the Stampin’ Blends and the “hello” is heat embossed. I love the sentiment inside, very sweet.

This was a simple card, so popping up the sentiment and the floral image gives it more interest and texture.

Need some quick Birthday cards, or any kind of card you have a sentiment for? These Delightfully Detailed Note Cards & Envelopes are perfect for a Stamp and Go card.

1aaa7

I hadn’t intended to use any Designer Series Paper on any of these cards…but when I made a mistake…I stamped the wrong side with the inside sentiment… I needed a quick fix, so I added the dsp and I think it turned out really cute!

1aa2

For all the foliage on this card, after inking the each stamp, I stamped off once on scratch paper before stamping the card. The sentiment and design at the bottom edge of the card, I used fully inked stamps.

January 18th, 2019,

This is Monday’s card, stepped up with some added details.  I love how the vellum turned out with the Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. And the colors…

1addwmcollage

I also turned the cut dsp into a large stitched square, larger than than the largest Stitched Shape square. I also cut the Crushed Curry down to  5 -1/4″ x 4″ and adhered to a Night of Navy card base.

This is how I made the square:

It’s not hard to see why this dsp (designer series paper), is called “Needlepoint Nook”.  Stampin’ Up! made it from photos of real needlepoint! This is just one of the 12 beautiful patterns in this 12″ X 12″ paper pack.  The sentiments are from the “Dear Doily” stamp set.  The sentiment on the stitched circle is especially pretty, I love the font style and the size of the font. It has some really sweet sentiment choices for the inside too.1aand thr collage

The heart framelits dies are from the “Meant To Be” Bundle which is part of the “All My Love” Suite. Bundle.  My January Card Buffet ladies got to make this card last week! It’s pretty straight forward.

Dimensions:

  1. A Crushed Curry card base, 5 1/2″ X 11″, scored at 4 1/4″
  2. 3 13/16″ X 3 13/16″ “Needlepoint Nook” dsp.
  3. The largest Stitched Circle in Flirty Flamingo, the next one down for the Whisper White Stitched Circle.
  4. I used the two smallest heart framelits dies from the Meant To Be Bundle for the two different hearts, adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals…Easy Peasy!!

Check out the  “Hello Cupcake” cards by Stampin’ Up!  I hope to be playing with this stamp set very soon! I can’t wait, it’s so cute, don’t you think? This set is one of the Free with purchase sets…makes it that much sweeter!

The Sweetest Thing stamp set is from the very adorable “How Sweet it is” suite of products. I’ve already seen so many cute card creations with this suite.

1awm24

I made these cards before I had the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies, or I would’ve used them here to cut the dsp. Below is a quick tip on aligning and adhering your dsp straight on your card.

1a25

How to card info:

  1. Cut 8 1/2″ X 11″ c.s. in half at 5 1/2″. (I like to score first, so I have two cards scored at once.)
  2. Cut one 1 1/2″ X 5″ pc of dsp and one 1 1/2″ X 4 1/2″ pc of dsp.
  3. I just placed the ruler where I wanted the dsp to be, I didn’t measure from the edge to any certain measurement.
  4. I used the largest Stitched Circle for the stamped images. I used Pool Party to stamp the glass jars and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to the card.
  5. I stamped the sentiment along the side of the card in Early Espresso for the “Chocolate” card and Gorgeous Grape for the Gummy Bear card.
  6. I tied a bow and adhered them with a glue or two.
  7. Adhere Share What You Love Artisan pearls.

January 7th, 2019,

Our youngest daughter, Lindsay got married last year and just celebrated her One-year Anniversary with her husband, Zach. She wanted to do a collage with some of her wedding cards. So later in the day, Christmas Day, we got to go in my craft room and start working on it. My good friend Kristine helped as well. We had most of the elements worked out before they went home. I finished up this week.

Do you recognize any of the framelit dies from the 2019 Occasions Catalog? There are also some retired framelits in use as well.

My photography skills are sorely lacking…these were the best I could get out of a ton I took! Turns out, the reflective glass is a real pain to us photography novices. 1aaaL&ZCollage

In the lower left corner is the garter…hard to see… my oldest daughter, Courtney, made for Lindsay. The braided ribbon wrapped around the rose stem is from the Bridal Shower Banner that Courtney made.

January 2nd, 2019,

Confession…I squealed like a 12 year old girl when I saw the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies in the 2019 Occasions Catalog…fortunately I was at Onstage with understanding and similar-minded Demonstrators who share this same passion of paper crafting. I have been wanting these FOR EVER!!

Scroll down if you want to see the card I made with the Stitched rectangles, we’ll be making this card at my January Card Buffet.

Check out some of the countless ways these will make beautiful die cuts for you:

1aawmRectangles Collage

The double stitching is just the best…when you cut out a rectangle it is “stitched” and the card stock you cut it from is “stitched” as well, as you can see in the photos below.

The first of many cards to come that will have some kind of stitched rectangle on it!

1a tips wmJAN 2018 CBCollage

The How To Tips:

  1. Cut a 8 1/2″ X 11″ pc of Grapefruit Grove card stock at 5 1/2″, (if you are making two cards, you can first score at 4 1/4″ down the whole pc of card stock, then when you cut it both cards will be scored.
  2. Cut the 3 3/4″ X 5 1/8″ Stitched Rectangle out of dsp.
  3. Cut the 3″ X 4 5/16″  Stitched Rectangle out of a pc of Whisper White card stock, stamp according to the pictures above.
  4. Color in the “Happy” with a Balmy Blue Classic Marker.
  5. I adhered the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
