I’m currently away from my computer, and will be off and on over the next couple weeks. I will try to check in a few times, and respond to your comments!
Purple (Highland Heather) Gingham and Cupcakes…these are a few of my favorite things… store bought buttercream (I don’t think they use real butter), frosted cake/cupcakes are my MOST favorite dessert ever!! We used to call it PMS cake around here because that’s when I would have the strongest cravings for it!
Admittedly, most things that contain sugar are on my favorites list…even the “there’s not anything sweet here in my kitchen or pantry that sounds very good for this particular craving right now, but this sweet will do in a pinch”
Hello Cupcake, is probably my favorite of all the FREE SAB sets, Painted Seasons is a close second. I had so much fun making this card, the thinlits made this stamp set even more fun to play with!!
I used the “Well-Said Cling Bundle” for the sentiments on the front of the card. I used the “More Than Words” stamp set from SAB-Coordination for the inside sentiment.

Yep, I’m doin’ Christmas for today’s blog! I got a little burned out on Christmas cards for awhile, but this 4 season set inspired me again! This is actually two sets, the Painted Seasons Bundle, (FREE with a $100 purchase) and the More Than Words stamp set.
If you guessed this is another Distinktive Stamp Set, you would be right! Most of the pine needles are covered on this card, so you can’t see the color variations very well on those…but… check out all the varying depths of color on those gorgeous pine cones!! I inked and stamped them one time, that’s it!
The Painted Seasons stamp set with it’s beautiful “Distinktive” style stamping is only going to be available through March 31st….only 2 days left after today…don’t let time run out if this is a must have set, it won’t be back.

This was a simple card and I’m really pleased with how it came out. The bigger flower is stamped in Petal Pink on Petal Pink Card Stock. The Sentiment is Petal Pink and Lemon Lime Twist. The DSP rectangle is the third largest Stitched Rectangle, and the Whisper White Rectangle is the largest die from the 4 piece rectangles group of this Die Cut set.

This sentiment-only stamp set, “Life Is Grand” is a great set to have. I love the size, the font and the versatility of the sentiments.
Don’t these cute little frogs look so friendly and happy? I used the adorable lily pad and flower from the “Hoppy Together” coordinating thinlit die cut set. I think they’re just so dang cute!
I hope that if you wanted these coordinating thinlit dies that you were able to get them before they sold out. It’s crazy how quickly they were gone! I’ve learned, if there is a stamp set or embossing folder or die cut that I really, really want…I get it early! If you don’t, you just might not ever get it.
From the moment Stampin’ Up! realizes an unexpected favorite is going to sell out, it generally takes 90 days from placing their order to receiving those products for distribution. By then, it’s often too late because they’re moving on to the next catalogs products.
Some general how to info:
This is a standard card size of 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, Call Me Clover card stock. The 2″ x 5 1/2″ strip of DSP is from Animal Expedition. The stitched circle is the second smallest. I used Stampin’ Dimensional’s to pop up the lily pad and frog.

I’ve never been much of a Rooster fan, I don’t know why…I guess I don’t think they’re…”cute”, but after seeing a bunch of cards with this guy…turns out roosters are kinda cute.
You can color Mr Rooster ANY color you like. Go ahead…google “rooster images” and you’ll see what I mean. I had no idea they were so colorful! (Obviously not a farm girl here!) Having said that, I didn’t get real colorful with these roosters, but I think the next rooster I color is going to have to have some Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry and maybe some Blueberry Bushel feathers to adorn him.

Love, love, love February’s Paper Pumpkin!! I made them pretty much as they were designed to be, (in the first collage) and I made alternate cards this time, (second collage), with the super cute stamp set from this month’s kit.
My alternates…
This set has really great sentiments, and that adorable little tea cup with the succulent.?..well…just can’t stop stampin’ n’ colorin’ it!
A quick note about one of my all time favorite SU! colors…if you’ve ever seen Blackberry Bliss in person, you know it’s a dark color but these pictures make it almost look black. It is lighter in person.

One of the things I like about the Valentine’s Day theme, “All My Love” Suite of products, is that they can be used for other reasons, not just Valentine’s Day. Weddings and bridal showers for sure, anniversaries, birthdays or “just because”, like the featured card here, are all possible reasons or events to make a card from these sets.
For as fancy as it looks, this card is fairly simple to make.
- Cut Whisper White Card Stock to 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″.
- Cut All My Love Designer Series Paper, the red pattern: 4 1/2″ x 3″, the floral strip: 5 1/2″ x 3/4″.
- For the sentiment card stock piece, start with the floral thinlit, then cut all the sides. Last position the corner holes thinlit and run through the big shot.
- The decorative piece at the bottom of the sentiment card stock piece, is from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits. I use Adhesive Sheets with delicate thinlits and framelits like this one, it’s so much easier to adhere them to your card.
- Adhere Heart Epoxy Droplets.

I think this bundle may have gotten overlooked a bit because I haven’t seen many cards on the demo sites with it. There’s a lot of cute little stamps in the set, 26 to be exact, and they’re photopolymer, which makes it a definite Yes for me!
I made about 20 of the cards above that I’ll be sending this weekend to my class attendees and a few of my Demo friends. The stamp set bundle is in the Annual Catalog on page 22, if you want to take a peek. It has a “Thank You” Thinlit die cut, that’s really cute.
The stamped rectangle backgrounds are from the Bokeh Dots stamp set. The two stamps in this set make beautiful backgrounds with endless applications.
The plant sprig is from the Dear Doily Stamp set, which also comes in a bundle, with some gorgeous Thinlit dies…pg. 47 in the 2019 Occasions Catalog.
I hope you like my cards! I love stamping cards like these two, playing with the various stamps and pretty colors.
